About Nathan Grammer & NG Racing

Nathan Grammer is a young New Zealand racing driver balancing school at Saint Kentigern College with a fast-developing motorsport career. He is the driver behind Nathan Grammer Racing, known as NG Racing — a New Zealand-based motorsport team competing nationally across multiple categories.

Motorsport is in his blood. Nathan was just three weeks old when he first visited Hampton Downs Raceway, and with his mum, dad and uncle all competing in race cars, it was only natural he would follow in their footsteps. Today, NG Racing reflects that family foundation, backed by a dedicated crew, partners and supporters who play a key role in every race weekend.

Nathan began in karting with Energy Corse NZ, building a strong racing foundation while competing at national level. In 2025, he stepped into car racing with Mackenzie Motorsport, finishing third overall in the inaugural Toyota 86 Trophy Series and earning multiple podiums throughout the season.

That same year, Nathan was crowned New Zealand 1-Hour Endurance Champion for Class 4 & 5 — a title based on combined results from the North Island Endurance Series and South Island Endurance Series. He continues to broaden his racecraft across categories including the Production Race Series and GTRNZ, gaining valuable experience at circuits around the country.

Looking ahead to the 2025/26 season, Nathan aims to compete in selected rounds of the Bridgestone GR86 Championship, run by Toyota Gazoo Racing New Zealand, as part of his continued development through national-level competition.

Nathan has completed the Hampton Downs NZ Racing Academy, is recognised as a Young Guns driver, and trains with Gus Lam Performance to stay race-ready both physically and mentally.

Through Nathan Grammer Racing and NG Racing, the focus remains clear: steady progression, strong partnerships and long-term growth within New Zealand motorsport. His ultimate goal is to compete in the Supercars Championship — one of the most competitive touring car categories in the world. Each season brings him one step closer.
