ABOUT NATHAN

Nathan Grammer is a young New Zealand racing driver balancing school at Saint Kentigern College with a fast-developing motorsport career.

Motorsport is in his blood. Nathan was just three weeks old when he first visited Hampton Downs Raceway, and with his mum, dad, and uncle all competing in race cars, it was only natural that he would follow in their footsteps.

Starting out in karting with Energy Corse NZ, Nathan built a strong foundation in racing and continues to compete at a high level. In 2025, he stepped into car racing with Mackenzie Motorsport, finishing third overall in the inaugural Toyota 86 Trophy Series and earning multiple podiums.

That same year, Nathan was crowned the New Zealand 1-Hour Endurance Champion for Class 4 & 5, a title based on combined results from the North Island Endurance Series (NIERDC) and South Island Endurance Series (SIERDC). He continues to gain experience across multiple categories, including the Production Race Series and GTRNZ, further broadening his racecraft and technical skill behind the wheel.

Looking ahead to the 2025/26 season, Nathan aims to compete in selected rounds of the Bridgestone GR86 Championship, run by Toyota Gazoo Racing New Zealand, as part of his continued development and progression into higher-level competition.

Nathan has completed the Hampton Downs NZ Racing Academy, is recognised as a Young Guns driver, and trains with Gus Lam Performance to stay race-ready.

His long-term goal is to compete in the Australian V8 Supercars Championship — one of the most competitive touring-car series in the world, and each season brings him a step closer to that goal.
