Nathan races the No.1 championship-winning TR86 chassis, previously campaigned by Tom Bewley with Mackenzie Motorsport in the Bridgestone Toyota 86 Championship.

The car made its debut with NG Racing in the 2025 Toyota Trophy Series, where Nathan secured third overall in his rookie season of circuit racing. Since then, the chassis has continued to compete nationally as part of Nathan's progression through New Zealand motorsport.

Originally presented in the Energy Corse livery as a tribute to Nathan's karting journey, the car now races in the colours of J.A. Russell, reflecting the ongoing support of one of NG Racing's principal partners.
