It was a rewarding weekend at the 2026 Auckland Schools KartSport event, with Nathan Grammer returning home with two trophies after representing Saint Kentigern College.

Nathan teamed up with Hannah Joyce to claim first place in the Secondary School Teams competition, while also securing fourth overall in the individual standings, earning a trophy for his performance against a highly competitive field.

Representing Saint Kentigern College against schools from across Auckland, Nathan and Hannah delivered consistent performances throughout the day to take out the top Secondary School Team honours. It was a fantastic result that reflected both drivers' pace, determination and teamwork on track.

Adding to the celebrations, Nathan's fourth-place finish in the individual standings saw him receive another trophy, narrowly missing the overall podium in a quality field.

"It was awesome to race alongside Hannah and bring home the schools title for Saint Kentigern," Nathan said.

"The school has always been really supportive of my racing, so it was pretty cool to be able to give something back. I was also really happy to come away with a fourth-place trophy in the individual standings."

Although much of Nathan's focus is now on circuit racing in the Toyota TR86 Trophy Series and endurance competition, events like Auckland Schools remain an important part of his development, helping sharpen the racecraft and skills that continue to transfer into his car racing.

Congratulations also go to Joey Zhou and Mason Harris, whose results helped Saint Kentigern claim the Boys' School title, making it an outstanding day for the school's karting programme.

Nathan also thanked those who continue to support his racing journey.

"A huge thanks to Mason Armstrong and Ryan Urban from Energy Corse New Zealand for all their support, and to everyone who backs me throughout the season."

With two more trophies added to the cabinet, Nathan now turns his attention back to the next round of racing as he continues building momentum through the 2026 season.
